New Delhi: The Mumbai police cancelled a gay party at the Spanish Villa hotel in Amboli area late on Saturday night. It is being said that the tickets for the party were sold online.

The Oshiwara police claim that the tickets, which were sold online, cost around Rs 450 each.

TV personality Bobby Darlingg was amongst the 100 people who were detained by the police on Saturday night. All of the detained were let off with a fine of Rs 1200.

The party goers, however, say the party wasn't illegal in any way - and claim they were being targetted for being gay.
