The second season of Park Seo Joon’s Netflix drama, Gyeongseong Creature, was recently released on the streaming platform. He stars alongside actress Han So Hee in the mystery thriller. Recently, the Concrete Utopia actor talked about his co-star and shared his thoughts about Han So Hee’s Gen Z personality.
In the latest episode of singer Sung Si Kyung’s YouTube talk show, which premiered on October 7, the host heaped praise on Gyeongseong Creature’s cast for their impressive acting in the series. He also complimented Seo Joon and So Hee’s on-screen chemistry, saying, “All of the scenes, even the cliché ones, were so heartbreaking and beautiful. Like, Han So Hee’s acting was insane— The two of you had such incredible chemistry!”

Following the praises, Gyeongseong Creature’s lead actor admitted that acting alongside Han So Hee was quite refreshing. Park Seo Joon shared that the Nevertheless actress’ perspective on their scenes and even life, in general, felt new to him, which he tagged as peak “Gen Z” behaviour. “That’s the thing about So Hee. When I look at her… You know how people talk about ‘Gen Z’ things. She’s peak Gen Z, in a good way. She’s such a breath of fresh air, really. She’s kind of… unfiltered. Something about her is not too refined and raw, but I love that about her,” mentioned the actor.
However, Han So Hee’s straightforward perspectives and outspokenness landed her in trouble a few months back. The actress got involved in a dating scandal with Reply 1988 actor Ryu Jun Yeol. The situation escalated when Jun Yeol’s ex-girlfriend, actress Lee Hye Ri, started sharing cryptic posts on her social media account, and Han So Hee reacted to them. Following this, Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So-hee decided to call it quits just two weeks after revealing their relationship.
In other news, the Gyeongseong Creature leads, and its director had a roundtable conversation with PTI just days before the premiere of the show’s second season. When asked if he would ever come to India to meet his fans, Seo-Joon said, “If you invite me, anytime. I love Bollywood… Yeah, please invite me. If I get the chance, I’d love to fly over.” The same emotion was resonated by his Gyeongseong Creature co-star, Han So-Hee, and its director Chung Dong-yoon. They nodded in agreement and said, “Same here.”
On the work front, Seo Joon made his Hollywood debut last year with MCU’s The Marvel and impressed his fans with two Korean films, Dream and Concrete Utopia. Whereas So Hee is known for her roles in Nevertheless, Soundtrack and The World of the Married.
