While King Khan will be next seen in Dunki, it has now been reported that the superstar will likely hike his fees for Rajkumar Hirani’s film.
Shah Rukh Khan Hikes Fee For Dunki?
In addition to a share in the film’s profits, Shah Rukh Khan reportedly charged Rs 100 crores for his role in Jawan. As reported by Siasat, King Khan was supposed to charge Rs 100 crore for Dunki too. However, following the success of the Atlee directorial, it is now being said that SRK might hike his fee. However, no specific figure following the alleged hike has been quoted by the entertainment portal. It should also be noted that News18 Showsha cannot vouch for the report’s authenticity.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Fees Hike Reports False?
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘close family friend’ has shared that all reports regarding the actor’s fee hike are false and untrue. “Since you are asking me, I am telling you why and how these reports make no sense. Firstly, no actor in the world goes running to a producer to hike his salary just because his last or last two or three films are successes, and especially when the film is under production. Dunki is almost complete. SRK signed and started the film around the same time as Jawan. On what ground would he ask for more money? Kyonki meri film hit ho gaye mujhe aur paise do?” the friend told Zoom.
The close friend further shared that Shah Rukh Khan is not a ‘greedy’ person and added, “He has never lowered his fee after a flop nor hiked it after a hit. He is way above all this. For Dunki, he has received exactly the remuneration that was agreed on when he signed it, not a penny more or a penny less.”
