Teenager Car Wash Worker's Quick Thinking Leaves Rude Customer Soaked

An 18-year-old car wash worker, Anna Harycki, recently became an internet sensation when she turned the tables on a rude customer who threw a drink at her. The incident happened at an Indiana car wash in the US, where Harycki, using a powerful hose to clean a car, was caught on camera retaliating in a unique way. The video captured the moment when a plastic cup filled with lemonade was thrown at the teenager while she was power washing a white sedan. With her quick thinking, Harycki seized the moment by aiming the powerful hose straight into the open window of the customer’s vehicle, making the person inside the vehicle wet. The clip, which went viral after the incident on February 3, has garnered attention on social media platforms. Interestingly, as a consequence, the car wash owners have taken a stand and they have banned the disrespectful customer from their establishment.

The video of the whole incident was captured on CCTV and shared on X. A user wrote, “Teenager blasts a woman with a pressurized hose at a car wash after the driver rolls her window down and throws a drink at her. Instant karma. The incident happened at an Indiana car wash while 18-year-old Anna Harycki was working. Harycki said her immediate “reaction” was to just blast the driver with the water. The customer and her boyfriend were then banned from the car wash for life.”

As per New York Post, Anna Harycki told What’s The Jam, “I was loading the car like I did with so many cars before that, making sure they safely entered the car wash belt. Once I pulled the car in all the way, I put the numbers into the system so they got the car wash they paid for. I picked up the pressure washer and started spraying down their car. The girl rolled down her window and threw lemonade at me and I was in shock. I told my managers, who were not OK with the customer throwing a drink at me. They decided to ban her and her boyfriend from the car wash.”

The teenager shared that her response to the rude customer was to “just power wash the window” that the woman had rolled down. The student feels fortunate that her employer supported her and took measures to ensure a safe workplace by banning the disrespectful customer.
