Uses & Cycle of Full Moon in Blox Fruits

Full Moon Cycle

Every 8 in-game nights, 180 minutes in real life, or 55 minutes after a new server launches. When you log into the game, you can ask in chat for the current moon cycle or hop up to the clouds and look for yourself. If you join a new server just as it's created, you'll see the full moon in 55 minutes.

Areas & Events Depending on Moon Cycle

Race Trials. Race Awakening, also called Race V4, requires a full moon to complete the trials. Getting Ghoul V4, for example, requires a full moon.

Soul Guitar Puzzle. Players need the full moon to start the puzzle for this mythical weapon.

Kitsune Island. You can only find this hidden island in Sea Danger Level 6 during a full moon. For example, this might be helpful for you if you're attempting to acquire a Kitsune Fruit by offering Azure Embers at the Kitsune Shrine; the island only appears during a full moon.

Tips for Finding a Full Moon

Join a new private server. Since the full moon happens 55 minutes after a server launches, doing this will ensure that you'll experience a full moon quickly.

Server hop for a moon in First Quarter or Waxing Gibbous. These are stages before the full moon, so you have time to get to the Temple of Time for race trials, the Haunted Castle for the Soul Guitar puzzle, and find the Kitsune Island.

Look for the announcements. A message will display on-screen from the First and Second Sea (where the full moon does nothing) and the Third Sea.
