The video was shared on Instagram by a user named @dholimeena007, showing how an old European woman is curiously asking questions to an Indian woman about her attire. The clip starts with the older lady complimenting the Indian, saying, “Your dress is very beautiful,” which is followed by a grateful “Thank You.” Pointing to her forehead, the elderly woman asks, “Does this mean you are married?” referring to the younger woman’s sindoor line. She then replies with a yes and the elderly woman happily states, “I knew it.”

The Indian woman explains to her, “These two things are the mark of a married woman,” and tells her that it is called kumkum. She says to her, “This is called kumkum (pointing to her hairline) and this is called bindi (pointing to her forehead).” The elder woman’s curious eyes then move to her mehendi-clad hands, asking, “What is this called?” and gets the answer, “Mehendi.” The foreign woman continues, “Is this a painting or a tattoo?” to which, the other just says, “No, it is not a tattoo.” The video is shared with the caption, “Aaj toh European dadi ne puri jankari leli (Today, European grandmother took all the knowledge).”
