SUHD TV
In terms of innovation, the SUHD TV is touted to come with the 'world's first bezel-less curved design' and comes with two new technologies - Quantum Dot Color and HDR 1000. While the Quantum Dot Colour feature essentially enhances colours and make them appear more vivid as compared to conventional UHD TV, the HDR 1000 comes with 10 bit panel and 1000 nit of brightness making the blacks appear more darker and the whites more brighter thereby adding to the overall viewing experience.
The vast lineup of 44 models comprises Samsung's new innovations. The SUHD TV comes with Quantum Dot Color- which essentially makes colours appear vivid than on conventional HD TV and HDR 1000 - technology which Samsung says is the best HDR viewing experience in the industry with 10 bit panel and 1000 nit of brightness.

Smart TV
Promising to offer the smartest TV ever, Samsung's Smart TV range is focussed on offering a more user-friendly and customisable television viewing experience. The Smart TV offers most of the key innovations by Samsung including 'single access system' with 'customisable UI' that makes navigation easier.
It further includes 'auto device detection' which enables the panel to identify whether you are live streaming from Netflix, using the regular TV subscription, or playing a game. The Smart TVs come with ' seamless convergence across platforms' which allows users to play content from their smartphone onto the TV. It comes with the new Smart TV app that also lets you share photos from the TV onto other platforms.
The new range of Samsung Smart TVs also come with a 2 way Bluetooth audio system that allows one to stream music from their bluetooth-enabled phone onto the television.
With the new lineup, Samsung introduced its Cric-o-mania app, targeted especially at cricket lovers. The app sends live tickers onto the screen during cricket matches so that even if you are in the middle of a game or a show on television, you don't miss out on the match details.
Other features include smartphone integration which also allows one to transform their smartphone into a remote control. The all-in-one app lets you navigate through channels or smart apps with the help of your smartphone.
The Smart TV range is available in 32-inch to 78-inch display options with a price starting at Rs 34,500 and goes up to Rs 7,03,900.
Joy Beat TV
The third category of the smart TVs is aimed at budget consumers and is touted as 'India's own music TV'. The Joy Beat TV range features Samsung's integrated sound station that is essentially aimed at delivering theatre-like audio in the comfort of the house.
The Joy Beat range is also available in 32-inch to 49-inch display sizes with prices starting from Rs 27,900 to Rs 69,500.
All the models come with the smart remote control that functions both as a TV remote and a set-top-box (STB) controller. They also come with an integrated STB receiver. But, the drawback is that currently these only support only a handful of service providers in India. Samsung, however, plans to partner more providers in the near future.
