Chiranjeevi, Wife Surekha Meet Deputy Telangana CM In Hyderabad; Photos Viral

The Telugu cinema icon, Chiranjeevi recently met the Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu. He was accompanied by his wife Surekha Konidela. The duo met the Deputy CM at his residence on January 4. Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu tweeted the pictures of his meeting with Chiranjeevi and his family. In the pictures, the actor can be seen wearing a green shirt paired with black jeans. His wife wore a light purple saree. The Deputy CM wore a white kurta, which he paired with a white dhoti. In the photo, Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu and his wife gifted boxes of sweets to Chiranjeevi and his family. Chiranjeevi can also be seen exchanging a warm greeting with the Deputy CM and giving him a bouquet and a shawl. In return, Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu also gifted shawls to Chiranjeevi and Surekha.

On the professional front, Chiranjeevi’s last four films put up a tepid performance at the box office. None of his films including Acharya, Godfather, Waltair Veerayya, and Bhola Shankar could entertain the audience. Chiranjeevi’s followers have failed to understand why the megastar’s films have put up a flop show at the box office for a long time. According to an article published in the Indian Herald, Chiranjeevi demanded an exorbitant fee and didn’t care about the film production’s quality. This led to a subpar production quality and a hasty wrap-up of their films.

Undeterred by the flop performances, Chiranjeevi will now act in a film titled Mega 156, directed by Mallidi Vasishta. Sai Madhav Burra and Mallidi Vasishta have written the storyline for this film. According to a report by ANI, Mega 156 is a fantasy entertainer. The fantasy flick is the first-of-its-kind, signed by Chiranjeevi after a long while. Mega 156 is to be shot on a massive scale by V Vamsi Krishna Reddy, Pramod Uppalapati, and Vikram Reddy under the banner of UV Creations. Kunal Kapoor will also act in this film.

Besides this film, Chiranjeevi will also act in a movie titled The Journalist, directed by Vedanth Harsh. This film is currently in the production stage.
