2019 World Cup winners England will be facing the Netherlands in their upcoming fixture of the ongoing edition of the tournament in India. England have only won one out of the seven games they have played so far in India, losing to teams including Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, New Zealand and South Africa.
In their last match, they were beaten by 2015 World Cup winners Australia by 33 runs. After such a disastrous campaign in India, the Englishmen will be looking to redeem themselves at the premier tournament.
They have only two more games left to play in the competition. They will be eager to win both of those matches starting with the Netherlands.

England and Netherlands will take each other on at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium on November 8. The Netherlands are also having an underwhelming tournament in India so far. The team made the headlines when they secured a spot at the 2023 World Cup, overcoming teams like the West Indies.
However, the Dutch have only managed two wins in the seven games they have played so far at the tournament. They did manage to take down South Africa and Bangladesh in their campaign but nothing more than that. They will also be looking to finish their World Cup campaign on a winning note. However, that seems unlikely with England and India being their last two opponents.
England vs Netherlands head-to-head:
England have taken on the Netherlands a total of six times head-to-head in ODIs. Each of those fixtures was won by the English side with two of those victories coming in the 2003 and 2011 World Cups. It will be interesting to see if the Dutch can finally overcome the English in India.
