Bangalore: Karnataka Janatha Party (KJP) President BS Yeddyurappa's day and night dharna against the Karnataka government entered the second day on Friday. The former chief minister is protesting against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's decision to scrap some of the schemes implemented by the previous BJP government.

Yeddyurappa is sitting in a dharna at Anandarao circle in Bangalore demanding that the welfare schemes introduced by his government should not be scrapped.

Yeddyurappa and Siddaramaiah don't see eye to eye. Both the leaders have not shunned from using harsh words against each other. While Yeddyurappa has gone on to describe Siddaramaiah as a dictator and a casteist, the Karnatake Chief Minister has accused him of being corrupt.

Siddaramaiah, who also holds the finance portfolio, dropped many schemes implemented by the previous BJP government.

Yeddyurappa has now threatened to continue his dharna till November 5. He has also decided not to celebrate Deepavali in protest.
