New Delhi: Days after the BJP's national executive meet concluded in Lucknow, it seems Uma Bharti may return to the party's fold. The former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, who was expelled from the party in December 2005 for indiscipline, is finally set to be re-inducted in the party on Tuesday.
Uma Bharti was given a showcause notice by the party leadership after she had objected to LK Advani's praise of Jinnah. She had also slammed Advani for 'indiscipline' and had also demanded Advani's expulsion.
Uma Bharti had then gone and formed her own outfit Bhartiya Janshakti Party. Recent years, however, have seen the temperamental politician trying to make peace overtures.
On Monday, Uma Bharti also pitched her support for yoga guru Baba Ramdev, showing up at his fast venue in Haridwar.
