New Delhi: The Aam Admi party has called a special session of the Delhi Assembly to discuss the CBI raids on the Delhi secretariat and the DDCA scam.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that the CBI raided the CM's office to get hold of the DDCA files adding that Finance minister Arun Jaitley ignored corruption in the cricketing body when he served as President.
"All notes and pages of DDCA files were raided. Our reports suggest Arun Jaitleys involvement in corruption and this was done when he was part of the DDCA," Sisodia said.
BJP MLA Vijendra Gupta opposed the discussion in the House calling the matter sub-judice. Sisodia has moved a proposal calling for an enquiry committee to be formed to probe corruption in the DDCA.
Meanwhile, six AAP leaders including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have been given three weeks notice by Delhi High Court to respond to the defamation case filed by Jaitley.
