New Delhi: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee arrived in New Delhi on Monday, her first visit to the National capital after her recent London trip, to seek flood relief assistance from the Centre.
She is slated to go to the hospital to see President Pranab Mukherjee's ailing wife on Tuesday, said a close aide of Chief Minister.
As per the programme, she will inaugurate the renovated Manjusha, the state emporium in New Delhi on Tuesday.
While she is likely to meet Prime Minister day after on Tuesday, there is a possibility of a meeting with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday, the aide said.
Bengal which was hit by a devastated flood is seeking a comprehensive Central assistance to tide over the crisis.
