New Delhi: Union Environment and Forest Minister Jairam Ramesh lost his cool on Tuesday while addressing a press conference in New Delhi and asked the media personnel to leave if they wanted him to comment on the China issue.
"Please don't waste your time. This press conference is on green house emissions. I won't say anything on China," he said in New Delhi on Tuesday.
"You can go if you want. If you are interested in global warming, then you can continue here," he added.
But even after getting a rap from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his own party on his remarks against Union Home and Defence Ministries in China, Ramesh once again spoke in favour of China.
Comparing India and China's development in the last 25 years Ramesh said that China is now ahead of India for work in non-renewable energy sector.
"It saddens me to think that in the early 80s, India was far ahead of many countries, in solar and wind, and clean cold technology. But 25 years later, countries like china have moved ahead of India. One of the lessons that we must learn is aggressive domestic action," said Ramesh.
