The trailer of Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is all set to be unveiled today. The film starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri has grabbed the attention of many for its nostalgic, quirky and vibrant nineties vibe. Reportedly, it revolves around a VHS tape containing an intimate video of a couple that leads to chaos in a small town. On Wednesday (September 11), the actors took to social media to share the trailer announcement video featuring both of them as news presenters in a newsroom that washed fans over with a retro recall.
And now, News18 Showsha brings to you an exciting update on the Raaj Shaandilyaa directorial that promises to be ‘97% parivarik’ and ‘3% maha parivarik’. In an exclusive chat with us, Sachin Sangvi of Sachin-Jigar composer duo made a big reveal regarding the music of the film. Nine years later, Adnan Sami will be marking his comeback to Hindi film music with Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. For the unversed, the last theatrical release Adnan crooned for was Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan where he lent his vocals for the qawwali track, Bhar Do Jholi Meri.
Talking about Adnan’s return to Bollywood, Sachin tells us, “I was born in the 80s. I was in my teen years in the 90s. So, I’ve lived every bit of the music of the 90s. The songs of that decade has left a strong impression in me and so, one of the songs in the film is sung by Adnan Sami.” While most details about the track are still kept under wraps, it will surely be interesting to see Rajkummar and Triptii bringing it to life onscreen.

Sharing his excitement about the song and the joy of working with the Noor E Khuda and Baatein Kuch Ankahein Si hitmaker, Sachin further adds, “I truly cherish the fact that we could do this because my god, haven’t we enjoyed his melodies and his reign! What a talent and what a person he is! It was just amazing to work with him. So, be assured that those times are coming your way again.”
On a related note, a video of Triptii grooving on the sets of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video went viral a few days back. Vidya Balan and Vicky Kaushal also recently joined in the fun as they addressed the rumours surrounding a leaked viral video. And earlier this year, Rajkummar and Triptii – to mark the completion of their film shoot – shared a hilarious video of them as they payed an ode to Hindi films’ song and dance sequences and danced to Aapke Aa Jaane Se, that piqued the interest of many.
