BSP MP hits out at VK Singh, says adults whose minds are polluted need to be send to remand home
VK Singh has been under opposition attack for his 'dog' remark made in the context of the burning alive of two Dalit children in Faridabad in Haryana about three months back.

New Delhi: Union Minister VK Singh, who is under attack over his 'dog' remark, once again targeted in Rajya Sabha by a BSP member who made certain adverse remarks against him.

Singh, former Army Chief, appeared taken aback when in course of a discussion on the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children), Bill 2015, senior BSP leader Satish Chandra Misra said that there is a need to send not only the juvenile to remand home but also adults whose minds are polluted.

Misra was narrating how adults and parents too at times were responsible for decline of moral values in the society.

Singh has been under opposition attack for his 'dog' remark made in the context of the burning alive of two Dalit children in Faridabad in Haryana about three months back.

Singh appeared startled for a few seconds but he continued to sit in the House.

Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi took strong objection to Misra's remarks and demanded that he should withdraw the comments as Singh was an elected representative and honourable minister.

Naqvi demanded that the remarks be expunged from the proceedings to which Misra retorted that they will continue to attack Singh till such people were part of the society.

Naqvi again said that such kind of language was not proper against a minister.

EMS Natchiappan, who was in the Chair, said he will see the records.
