The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has officially opened registrations for the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2024 for admission to UG engineering degrees. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply on viteee.vit.ac.in, the official website, for the entrance test. Applications for the VITEEE 2024 are being accepted until March 30, 2024, and the test will take place between April 19 and April 30, 2024.
VITEEE 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are associated with a recognised board, such as State, CBSE, or CISCE, and who have either successfully finished their Class 12 examination or are in the process of appearing for it in 2024, are eligible for VITEEE 2024.
Eligibility also extends to those who have completed the Cambridge University High School Certificate Examination or who possess an International Baccalaureate Diploma (with Chemistry at the Standard Level and Physics and Mathematics at the Higher Level). Candidates from London, Cambridge, or Sri Lanka who possess Advanced (A) General Certificate Education (GCE) credentials are also eligible. Regular National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) board candidates who have passed their class 12 may also apply.
VITEEE 2024: How to Apply
Step 1: Go to viteee.vit.ac.in, the official VITEEE website.
Step 2: Select the VITEEE registration link 2024 that appears on the main website.
Step 3: Fill out the registration details and click the submit button.
Step 4: After registering, fill out the VITEEE 2024 application form and pay the required application fees.
Step 5: Download the application form after clicking “Submit.”
Step 6: Print a copy of the VITEEE 2024 application form for future records
VITEEE 2024: Exam pattern
The VITEEE 2024 will last for two hours and thirty minutes. The examination will feature multiple-choice questions and each correct response will receive one mark. A total of 125 questions divided into five sections will be asked. The questions will include 40 questions from math/biology, 35 questions from physics, 35 questions from chemistry, 10 questions from aptitude, and 5 questions from English. The VITEEE 2024 examination is limited to one attempt per candidate, and the question paper will only be available in English.
