Who Is Mannara Chopra, Priyanka Chopra's Cousin, Who Was Called 'Duplicate of Parineeti'?

Mannara Chopra has been making headlines for her Bigg Boss 17 stint. The actress, who has predominantly worked in Telugu cinema, has emerged as one of the strongest contestants this season. From her intense fights with Ankita Lokhande to her growing friendship with Munawar Faruqui, Mannara has been giving ample entertainment to Bigg Boss viewers. Not many would know, but Mannara is global star Priyanka Chopra’s cousin. However, Mannara has refrained from talking about her family connection with Priyanka on the show.

In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 17, Abhishek Kumar called Mannara “duplicate of Parineeti Chopra”. Parineeti and Mannara are also cousins. Earlier, Mannara got irked after Munawar and Isha Malviya asked her on the show whether she attended Parineeti’s wedding with Raghav Chadha. Mannara has made it clear that she doesn’t want to talk about her family on Salman Khan-hosted reality show.

In a recent interview before entering the show, Mannara said that she wanted to establish her own identity through this show. “In my career I’ve never shared any work related information with Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti. If some guidance is needed it is fine but work related we don’t discuss. We all are individuals and I’m blessed to be doing a lot of work. Everyone is busy travelling sabke passports full hote hain… I would rather discuss general things with them than work related. We discuss general topics,” she had told ETimes.

A few days back, Priyanka Chopra had shared a throwback photo with Mannara on her Instagram Story and showed her support for her cousin. The Bigg Boss 17 contestant’s mother, Priyanka’s father and Parineeti’s father are siblings.

Wishing Mannara the best for her Bigg Boss 17 journey, Priyanka wrote on Instagram Story, “Throwback to little Mannara Chopra. Good luck little one (red heart, folded hands and flexed biceps emojis).” The throwback photo was taken after Priyanka Chopra won the Miss World 2000 pageant. Priyanka was seen wearing the Miss World crown as she posed with a young Mannara at an event.
