Rani Mukerji Makes SHOCKING Claim Against Karan Johar on Koffee With Karan: 'You Hit Me...'
Koffee With Karan Season 8: Rani Mukerji recalled the filming of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai song 'Koi Mil Gaya' and revealed that Karan Johar hit her during its shoot.

Koffee With Karan Season 8: In the latest episode of Koffee With Karan Season 8, Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji jokingly revealed that Karan Johar had “hit” her once during the filming of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and even “snatched” her food. Rani made the claim when Karan was recalling how she turned choreographer for Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol while shooting for the popular song.

Karan, who was just 24 when he made his directorial debut with Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, recounted how Kajol called him to her van on the first day of the shoot of the super hit 1998 movie and asked him to scream at her “loudly” on the set so that the crew would take him seriously. “I just thought it was quite sweet that you (Kajol) offered that. Though I didn’t land up screaming at you because I thought it’d be a bit too much if day one, I start screaming at such a huge movie star right in the middle of the shoot,” Karan recalled.

“You didn’t scream but you hit me,” Rani quickly added. “I didn’t hit you,” a visibly shocked Karan replied. “Don’t say such things. It’s not considered appropriate,” he added. “It was abuse,” Kajol quipped.

“I know I snatched food off your table, but I didn’t hit you Rani,” Karan said before adding, “Those were different days and we were not woke. I had told Rani, ‘You have to wear a short skirt in Mauritius so just lose some weight because you have to wear it.’ She said, ‘I’ll lose some four to five kilos.’ So she did. Four to five kilos happened. They were not lost. They were put on. And, I was like how she was going to wear those orange shorts. So then we instructed the room service not to give you any food and Rani’s mother was in on this.”

However, Rani later clarified that it wasn’t a hit but a gentle pat. “Karan, don’t get serious I’m just joking. And I hope people who are watching this show should take it as a joke because it wasn’t really a hit. It was a gentle pat,” Rani said.
