Varun Dhawan Fanboys Over Kalki 2898 AD, Says Nag Ashwin-Prabhas' Film Is 'Magic and Madness'

Varun Dhawan shared his review of Kalki 2898 AD. The film released last week and has set the box office on fire. With the film swiftly surpassing the worldwide box office collection of Rs 500 crores in just four days, Varun revealed he thoroughly enjoyed the Nag Ashwin film. Tagging Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan on X, the Bollywood actor shared his review.

“Kalki is all that we have ever dreamt for and from Indian Cinema !! Every frame is to Marvel at – what you guys have done is not less than magic and madness..Thank You for giving us this experience in #Kalki2898AD,” Varun shared on X.

The producers replied to his tweet by thanking him. “We’re overjoyed by your love for #Kalki2898AD! Thank you

@Varun_dvn ji for your heartfelt words ❤️,” they said.

The Telugu film, which has been released in four other languages, heavily draws inspiration from Mahabharat. The film is set in a dystopian future and revolves around four people — a pregnant woman named Sumathi (Deepika Padukone), who is said to be carrying a child that is the 10th avatar of Vishnu; the immortal Ashwatthama (played by Amitabh Bachchan) who has been tasked to protect the unborn child; a ruthless villain named Supreme Yaskin (Kamal Haasan), who wants the child dead for he knows the child will be the end of the baddie; and Bhairava (Prabhas), a bounty hunter who would sell anyone in return of money.

The film is being loved by all, and theories for Kalki 2898 AD part 2 have already taken over the internet.

Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan is busy with his upcoming film, Baby John. The film is set to release on December 25 this year. Taking to his social media handle last month, Varun Dhawan shared, “Christmas this year just got merrier. Brace yourselves for Baby John releasing on December 25th ,”and also unveiled a new poster from the film.
