When Bollywood’s most loved on-screen couple decides to reunite after years, even a single dance sequence is enough to woo their fans in superlative numbers. With King Khan and Kajol recreating the magic of ‘Baazigar’ by grooving to the beats of ‘Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen’, the show was definitely on fire!
Varun Dhawan gave us some humorous facts to ponder over. With the ‘Badlapur’ star citing an incident of his childhood days wherein he went to SRK’s house to collect funds for the National Blind Association and ended up thinking that something was terribly wrong. As a young boy back then, he thought that the beloved on-screen DDLJ couple Raj-Simran were in fact a real life couple too. Thank god for his mother bursting the little bubble he was living in or else he would have still thought they were married.
When asked about why he doesn’t play the role of a lawyer or a doctor in his films, SRK with his sharp wit promptly replied, “Yaar. Mujhpe chokri achhi lagti hai, naukri nahi.” However, he did turn to become a doctor and lawyer to fulfil the demands of his fans. Apart from fulfilling the wishes of his fans, the king of romance also made a point to teach Kapil Sharma the right technique of romancing with girls with the iconic dialogue, ‘Pyaar karti ho mujhse Simran? Bharosa hain mujhpe?”
Not only did he ask Kapil to go down on his knees, but also took a humorous dig at Kapil by saying, “Tu mooh zada khol raha hai, kam khol.”
While talking about the shooting experience with Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan, Varun Dhawan went a step ahead and tried to confess that Kajol is the coolest actress he has ever worked with. If only Shah Rukh would have given him the leverage to complete his statement. In his usual winsome avatar, Shah Rukh Khan pulled Varun’s leg by naming all his previous co-stars for comparison. Better than Nargis Fakhri? Better than Shraddha Kapoor? Better than Alia Bhatt? Better than Huma Qureshi?
