Rajkummar Rao starrer Srikanth has won everyone’s hearts. The biopic is doing considerably well at the box office. By Day 9, the film has amassed an impressive Rs 22.53 crore. Directed by Tushar Hiranandani featuring Rajkummar Rao, Alaya F, Jyothika, and Sharad Kelkar in important roles. The movie opened to positive reviews from viewers and critics.

On Sunday, Ranveer Singh  took to his social media handle and showered praises on the actor. Earlier, Akshay Kumar also praised the film and asked Rajkummar Rao that he should start giving acting classes.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Ranveer Singh wrote, “An uplifting story & a beautiful performance from a special actor. Congrats to the team of #Srikanth.” Akshay Kumar wrote, “Nothing is impossible. #Srikanth is a must watch! Picture dekh ke mazza aa gaya. Rajkummar Rao, bhai ab toh acting classes shuru kar de. You are simply brilliant,” the actor wrote on social media. In response to Kumar’s words, Rao said, “Thank you so much my dearest Akshay sir. Aapse hi seekhte hai sir. You’re the best.”

Srikanth is based on the real-life story of an industrialist, Srikanth Bolla, who despite being visually impaired defied all odds and achieved success in life. It will also highlight his academic struggles as a visually impaired person who graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The industrialist is also known for employing unskilled and differently-abled individuals. Rajkummar Rao’s role as Srikanth has earned him much praise. The film is backed by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani.

Previously, in an interview with News18 Showsha, Alaya F opened up about her work experience with Rajkumar Rao. She said, “He’s just so in character – he’s so invested in acting. It’s incredible. I mean, it’s a masterclass watching him do what he does. He’s also really, really sweet, kind, and a lovely person. So, it was great working with him!”
