Nick Jonas married Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra in two highly-anticipated ceremonies over the last weekend at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. The couple had a Christian wedding on Saturday officiated by Nick's father Kevin Jonas Sr., and a traditional Hindu marriage the next day.
The complete Jonas family was in attendance -- Nick’s parents, and his brothers, Kevin, accompanied by wife Danielle, Joe and his fiancee, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, and Frankie Jonas. From the bride’s side, all her close friends and family members, including cousins Parineeti and Mannara Chopra, were present at the ceremony.
Taking to Instagram, Nick's mother has welcomed Priyanka to the Jonas family with a heartfelt post. "Welcome Mrs. Jonas!! My heart overflows with joy & love for the 2 of you. God only has the best ahead of you. A lifetime of love, a journey of togetherness, I love you, Mom.” She also shared their family pictures from the wedding," she wrote alongside a picture from Priyanka's Christian wedding.
Nick's brothers Joe and Kevin also welcomed the actress to their family with heartfelt posts.
After completing the nuptials in Jodhpur, Priyanka and Nick hosted a grand reception party in New Delhi on Tuesday. It was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Also, designers like Ritu Kumar, Rohit Bal, Ritu Beri, Anju Modi, JJ Valaya, Raghavendra Rathore, Gaurav Gupta, Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, along with Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) President Sunil Sethi were in attendance. Key mediapersons were also invited.
