2018 was undoubtedly the year weddings in the Indian showbiz. From Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas to Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh, couples took their relationships forward and it seems like the same will continue in the next year as well.
Recently, a media portal reported that Ankita Lokhande, who is about to make her Bollywood debut with Manikarnika, is all set to tie the knot with her rumoured boyfriend Vicky Jain.
Apparently, the families of the rumoured couple know about them and they have been talking about the wedding preparations. The two have neither addressed their relationship nor talked about their marriage though. It is said that Ankita and Vicky met on the sets of Pavithra Rishta. The actress has been spotted with the Mumbai-based businessman on several occasions after that.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, last week Ankita shared her first look from Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. She essays the role of Jhalkari Bai, a soldier and advisor in Rani Laxmi Bai's army.
Vicky too shared her pictures on his social media handles and wrote, "I am so so proud of you." Incidentally, Ankita's ex-boyfriend and co-star Sushant Singh Rajput also congratulated the actress on her new project. The two dated for six years before they called it quits in 2016.
The actor was “absolutely” floored by the Ankita's intense look in the film. His comment read, “It looks absolutely great Ankita. I am extremely happy to see this. May God bless you with lots of success and happiness.” To which Ankita replied, "Thank you Sushant. I wish you the same."
Directed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi and Kangana Ranaut, Manikarnika will hit the screens on January 25, next year.
