Kareena Kapoor Khan will be seen in a mystery thriller drama The Buckingham Murders. The film is releasing on September 13 and today makers released the trailer. For the event, Kareena stepped out in a pantsuit and gave us boss-lady vibes. The video has gone viral and fans are reacting to it.
In the video, shared by Viral Bhayani, we can see Kareena Kapoor wearing a black pantsuit. She opted for minimal makeup and left her hair open. The actress was seen posing for the camera. The trailer video opens with Kareena Kapoor investigating the case. She is seen interrogating a child who has been murdered mysteriously. The actress is looking tough as she gets deeper into solving the case. Kareena will impress you with her performance. Sharing the trailer link on her handle, Kareena wrote, “Trailer out now. #TheBuckinghamMurders in cinemas on 13th September.” Quickly fans reacted and showered praise on her.
Kareena Kapoor said, “I think I loved playing that part because this is the first time I am playing a detective, and I am a huge crime drama fan.” While the actress admitted that playing the role was difficult since the character’s grief made her uncomfortable it also gave her a lot of joy to play it. She added, “It’s a career-defining role for me and one of my best characters.” Kareena mentioned that she asked the director to make it a four part series since she did not want to let go of the character.
The Buckingham Murders garnered acclaim from the crowd at its global premiere at the BFI London Film Festival 2023. It was also screened at the 2023 Mumbai Film Festival at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in October.
