Director-screenwriter Nanda Kishore is currently grabbing the headlines for his upcoming project, Vrushabha. This upcoming historical action drama film is written by Janardhana Maharshi and stars Mohanlal, Shanaya Kapoor, and Meka Srikanth as the main leads. The film also stars Neha Saxena, Ramachandra Raju, Zahrah S Khan, Ragini Dwivedi, and Roshann Meka. Nanda Kishore works predominantly in the Kannada film industry. He is popularly known for directing films like Victory (2013), Adyaksha (2014), and Ranna (2015). He made his directorial debut with Victory. This Kannada comedy film was written by MS Sreenath. The film stars Sharan and Asmita Sood in the lead roles, with Avinash, Ravishankar, and Ramesh Bhat playing supporting roles. The film was an instant success at the box office and received immense appreciation. Since then, he has never looked back.

He then worked on the 2014 film Adhyaksha. It stars Sharan, Hebah Patel, Chikkanna, P Ravi Shankar, Malavika Avinash, and Ramesh Bhat. It is a remake of the Tamil film Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam.

Next, he worked on the film Ranna. This Kannada-language action comedy film was directed by Nanda Kishore and featured an ensemble cast including Kiccha Sudeepa, Prakash Raj, Rachita Ram, Haripriya, Madhoo, Devaraj, Avinash, Sharath Lohitashwa, and Sadhu Kokila.
