Divya Agarwal and her husband Apurva Padgaonkar made their first public appearance on Thursday night ever since their divorce rumours made headlines. The couple was spotted by the paparazzi at an event in Mumbai. In a video that surfaced on social media, Divya and Apurva were all smiles as they held each other close and posed for the cameras.

For the occasion, Divya sported a hot black outfit which she paired with matching heels and minimal accessories. On the other hand, her husband, Apurva, looked dapper in a white shirt with matching pants. Watch the video here:

Divya Agarwal and Apurva Padgaonkar tied the knot on February 20 this year in an intimate ceremony which was attended by their family members and close friends. However, in May, Divya left everyone concerned after she deleted her wedding pictures from her Instagram handle.

While fans were left wondering if Divya and Apurva were parting ways, the actress later penned down a long note to clarify that all is well between her and her husband. She said that she deleted several other posts from her account, but the media “chose to see and react only to my marriage.”

“I made no noise… I made no comments or stories… I deleted 2500 posts yet the media chose to see and react only to my marriage,” Divya wrote and then added, “It’s funny how people see and expect things out of me. I have always done something people never expected out of me. And what they expecting now- the babies or divorce? None of it is happening. In reality, my first pinned post on my profile (Cartel review) is the thing I want to be talked about from now onwards. Every movie ends with a happily ever after and by god’s grace, my husband is snoring away to glory right next to me.”

Meanwhile, before her wedding with Apurva, Divya was speaking to ETimes when she said, “He has brought me back to life. When my father passed away and left us, I had stopped going to the temple, I had stopped believing in things. But he reinstated faith in my life, so for that, I’ll always be grateful to him.”
