Vikas Gupta may not have won the Bigg Boss season 11 trophy, but he has certainly won several hearts with his calm and composed nature. Vikas, the man behind hit shows like Gumrah, Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan and Yeh Hai Aashiqui, entered the show as a celebrity contestant and formed an alliance with actor Hiten Tejwani and commoners Arshi Khan and Jyoti Kumari.
From his intense fights with Shilpa Shinde to his repetitive emotional breakdowns on the popular reality show, the journey of Vikas, who is known as the mastermind of Bigg Boss 11, has been full of ups and downs.
Even though he couldn't win the show, Bigg Boss gave him a chance to earn Rs 9 Lakh from the winner's prize money during a task named Vikas City, in which Shilpa Shinde (winner), Hina Khan (runner-up) and Puneesh Sharma (fourth) were mandated to follow his orders otherwise they would need to give up Rs 3 Lakh from the winning amount.
Defeating Shilpa and Puneesh, Vikas had earned Rs 6 lakh during the task and he has now decided to divide this money between Arshi and Jyoti. In a recent interview with Times Of India, Vikas said, "I will give them Rs 3 lakh each. Jyoti stood by me like a rock when the whole house was against me. Arshi, too, was protective of me. She cared more about me as a friend than the show."
