Four months after the tragic murder of Renukaswamy, a ray of happiness has entered the grieving family, as his wife Sahana has given birth to a baby boy. Renukaswamy, who was a native of Chitradurga, Karnataka, was murdered. Actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and his associates are being accused in the case. The case is still under investigation. According to reports, Sahana was five months pregnant at the time of her husband’s demise and delivered a healthy baby boy this morning at Kirti Hospital in Chitradurga. The delivery took place at 6:55 am, and both mother and child are reportedly out of danger. It was a normal delivery, and the hospital provided free treatment for Sahana, provided by Dr Mallikarjun and his team. The news of the baby’s birth has brought a fresh wave of hope to Renukaswamy’s family, who have been devastated since the murder.
Renukaswamy’s father, Kashinathaiah, expressed mixed emotions, shedding tears of joy at the birth of his grandson. He shared that the arrival of the baby has brought hope and happiness within the family, despite the tragedy they have faced. Kashinathaiah, in a recent media interaction outside Kirti Hospital, expressed his gratitude to Dr Mallikarjuna for the free treatment and said, “It feels like Renukaswamy is born again. We are thankful to the doctors and the hospital.”
The Renukaswamy family has been through immense hardship following his murder. Recently, a Bengaluru Sessions Court on Monday denied the bail petitions of Darshan Thoogudeepa and Pavithra Gowda in connection with the murder of Renukaswamy.
The case revolves around the murder of 33-year-old Renukaswamy, whose body was discovered near a stormwater drain in Sumanahalli, Bengaluru, on June 9. Police sources indicate that the tragic events were allegedly set in motion when Renukaswamy sent inappropriate and obscene messages to Pavithra Gowda, Darshan’s friend. These messages reportedly enraged the actor, leading to the chain of events that culminated in Renukaswamy’s murder.
Darshan, who has been in judicial custody since June 11, has been fighting to secure bail over the past few months.
