New Delhi: The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), the apex body of fashion in India, announced the schedule of shows lined up and the list of designers for the Amazon India Fashion Week spring-summer 2016. The five-day magnificent event is scheduled from October 7-11, 2015 at the NSIC Grounds, New Delhi.
Announcing the schedule, Mr. Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI said, “This year, we have had a resounding success in participation with 30 shows, 115 designers showcasing through runway and exhibition, 56 designers on the ramp. It will be an exuberant spectacle of the best talents from all over the country. I am delighted to announce the schedule for the upcoming season of AIFW, as we are geared up for a hearty mix of established gurus and newcomers, who will add buoyancy to the coveted event.”
As the mammoth event serves as a platform for choreographers, make-up professionals, set designers and gets the most established buyers from the country as well internationally, the Amazon India Fashion Week forecasts trends and keeps the momentum charged with exciting presentations.
