K-Pop Girl Band Aespa’s First Documentary Film To Release In February
The documentary aespa: MY First Page is expected to delve into the dreams and aspirations of the group members.

K-pop sensation aespa is gearing up to kick off the new year with a special treat for fans—an exclusive movie and a pop-up store. Their inaugural film, aespa: MY First Page, is set to hit the theatres soon. The movie will capture the journey of the group members from their debut in November 2020 to their current projects. Promising intriguing revelations, the documentary is expected to delve into the dreams and aspirations of the group members. SM Entertainment, the girl group’s agency, announced that the film will have an exclusive release at Lotte Cinemas in February.

Additionally, the agency revealed plans for a pop-up store dedicated to the group’s movie at Lotte World Mall in Song District, Seoul. The unique store will not only showcase the trailer of aespa: MY First Page but will also include aespa-themed photo zones. Fans will have the opportunity to send personalised messages to the group members. Exciting, isn’t it?

Furthermore, fans will have the chance to indulge in their aespa fandom by purchasing exclusive aespa-themed accessories and clothing from the pop-up store. The store is scheduled to be open from January 12 to January 21.

The K-pop band aespa consists of members including Karina, Winter, Giselle, and Ningning. They made their debut on November 17 with the digital single Black Mamba and have since released a string of hit tracks, including Next Level, Girls, Spicy, Drama, and more. Beyond their success in Korea, aespa has garnered international acclaim. Their album My World, released in 2023, achieved the status of second best-selling K-pop girl group album and secured the ninth position on the Billboard 200 albums chart in July.

The 13th Circle Chart Music Awards were recently held at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center in Busan, South Korea. The award for Artist of the Year (Digital) went to aespa for their track Spicy. They also won the Artist of the Year (Album) award.

In a previous interview with India Today, members of aespa expressed their eagerness to visit India and promised to do so at the earliest opportunity. When questioned about their plans to visit India considering the growing popularity, aespa member Karina reassured fans, saying, “We will make our way over to India as soon as we can. So keep believing in us, and thank you so much for all the love.”
