Women robbed of gold chains

BANGALORE: Two women were robbed of their gold chains by unidentified miscreants in separate incidents on Saturday night.In the incident reported at 23rd Main junction in Banashankari Second Stage, Rukmini, a resident of Banashankari, along with her husband Varadarajan and other relatives, were walking towards home. Meanwhile, an unidentified miscreant came from behind and snatched her gold chain worth `40,000 before speeding away with his associate, who was waiting on a bike at a distance, the police said.A case has been registered in Banashankari police station in this regard.In another incident reported near Jyothi School on Nehru Road in Banasawadi police station limits, two miscreants on a bike snatched a gold chain worth `35,000 from a woman.
