HYDERABAD: The Telugu Desam Legislature Party (TDLP) on Tuesday informed Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar that the TDP would move a noconfidence motion in the winter session of the State Legislative Assembly.
A delegation of TDP legislators met the Speaker and wanted him to see that the notrust motion was listed in the business advisory committee (BAC) and a debate took place on it in the Assembly.Though the TDP gave a notice for a notrust motion in the last Assembly session, the Speaker adjourned the house without taking up the motion for debate. "So, we informed the Speaker about giving another notice in the winter session of the Assembly and requested him for division of the vote on the notrust motion.

We do not want voice vote," TDP MLA P Keshav said. The MLAs also protested against the Speaker accepting the resignations of some MLAs and rejecting the others. "There was no rationale behind the decision on accepting or rejecting the resignations," they said.
