KOZHIKODE: The Special Investigation Team (SIT), which is probing into the fresh revelations made by Industries Minister Kunhalikutty’s estranged brother-in-law K A Rauf in the Ice Cream Parlour Sex Scandal Case, took statements of Rauf’s wife and daughter here on Thursday. DySPs Jaison K Abraham and Venugopal questioned the two for nearly two hours at Rauf’s residence in Jayanthi Nagar Colony.The police team is learnt to have asked about the relationship between K A Rauf and Kunhalikutty, the financial dealings between the two and the utilisation of money. Sources said that Rauf’s wife and daughter informed the police team that Kunhalikutty frequented Rauf’s house and money was given to him several times. They also revealed that Kunhalikutty never allowed Rauf to stay away from the issue.
