Lisbon: Manchester United's Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo is confident that Portugal, runners-up in Euro 2004, can win the World Cup in Germany later this year.
"Reaching the final is the main aim of this squad. We have a quality team and we are going to work hard," sports daily A Bola quoted the winger as saying on Tuesday.
"In personal terms, I am growing more and more confident. I have scored and I want to evolve further. I want to be in the best possible form at the World Cup," the 21-year-old added.
Portugal are in Group D along with Iran, Mexico and debutants Angola.
