Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will be felicitated by people of the newly-formed Chhota Udaipur and Mahi Sagar districts in Central Gujarat on August 30 at two different grand felicitation functions, official sources said in Vadodara on Tuesday.
A grand felicitation function will be held in Chhota Udaipur at 10 am, while another function will be held at 12 noon, at the district headquarters of Lunawada in Mahi Sagar district.
People from all walks of life, representatives of various organisations, business community, religious leaders, social leaders and co-operatives in both districts are all set to express their gratitude and accord a grand welcome to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
Chhota Udaipur district would have total 897 villages with the population of 9,09,799, while Mahi Sagar has a population of 9,66,540, with 707 villages.
