One injured in accident

KOCHI: One person was injured when a police jeep and a car collided on the Kottayathupara road in Chottanikara on Thursday.The person, identified as Indira, 62, was immediately admitted to the Ernakulam Medical Trust Hospital. Two others travelling along with her escaped unhurt.The police jeep belonged to the Ernakulam Rural Scientific Assistant Joby. A motor occurrence case has been filed against both parties.According to the police, the accident occurred due to rash driving on Kottayathupara bypass road.
