Mumbai: A small-time model identified as Rinki Chaudhry committed suicide by hanging herself in her Goregaon flat in Mumbai on Thursday.
Additional Commissioner of Police Ramrao Pawar said that Rinki was reportedly found hanging by her boyfriend in the kitchen at her residence in Vallabh Apartment on Thursday evening.
According to police, Rinki had gone to the kitchen while her companion was sitting in the hall.
"Since she did not return from the kitchen and was not responding, her boyfriend broke open the door and found her hanging," Pawar said, adding further investigations are on.
No suicide note has been found and police are investigating the matter.
