Udaipur: Well-known British model-turned-actress Elizabeth Hurley spent hours in Udaipur in Rajasthan modelling for her own swimwear collection.
Hurley started shooting for her swimwear line, Elizabeth Hurley Beach, on Wednesday morning and continued till sunset, sources said.
The morning shoot was conducted inside Oberoi's Udaivilas hotel where she is staying since her arrival on Monday evening.
In the afternoon, she moved out of the hotel and her shoots were taken at a temporary jetty created at Arsi Vilas situated inside Lake Pichola nearby.
The 18th century Arsi Vilas is an exclusive island located inside Lake Pichola.
It was built by Maharana Arsi Singh so he could watch the sunset from the middle of the lake. It has a lower platform at the back, which serves as a helipad when required.
Wearing an orange coloured swim suit, Hurley gave a number of shots in Arsi Vilas and some on a shikhara (a big boat). She took time out from her busy shooting schedule for shopping around the city in the afternoon and spent over an hour.
Late in the evening, Hurley checked out of Udaivilas Hotel and went to Devigarh Fort Palace, over 20 km from Udaipur, where she is staying in a luxury suite.
Hurley, who has a special fascination for Udaipur, is accompanied by a group of Hollywood photographers. Sources say that Hurley selected Udaipur as the location for the shoot campaign during an earlier visit.
She opened her own swimwear designer collection line in April 2005. She plans to marry India-born businessman Arun Nayar in March in the 18th century Devigarh Fort Palace hotel near Udaipur. The couple was here in November to celebrate the birthday of Nayar's mother Guna.
