List of buildings with permits at CSCs

HYDERABAD: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation will provide area-wise list of buildings with permissions and Building Penalisation Scheme application lists for public verification at all Citizen Service Centres. By this move, the civic body hopes citizens can check and verify for themselves, whether buildings had legal permissions before purchasing the property.GHMC commissioner MT Krishna Babu has directed all zonal commissioners for preparation of list of buildings with permissions and update the same within two working days. He also asked deputy municipal commissioners to hold BPS mela every Saturday, to distribute BPS proceedings completed in that week. The commissioner also advised to charge penalty of 33 percent where buildings are constructed without proper plans and take strict action on buildings with more than two floors, where the land is below 100 sq yards. The deputy municipal commissioners have been also directed to undertake a special drive to collect property tax from top 100 defaulters in their respective circles.Of 6,264 BPS applications, 2,377 have been cleared. For LRS applications, 15,790 are pending clearance. Of 691 buildings identified for parking violations, 455 still to be demolished.
