Airtel's eastern region CEO PG Sharma signed an MoU with KMC to lay 400 km of optical fibre cable in the city. Sharma said the layout will begin after the Durga Puja season next month.
Reliance, on the other hand, has planned to lay 750 km of optical fibre cable.
