In a remarkable feat, a young boy named Hadrian Vegas has set a new world record by performing 26 flips in the water. This significant achievement has captivated the attention of many. This extraordinary accomplishment was made possible by holding his breath for an impressive 37 seconds, and it earned him a Nobel World Record. Hadrian Vegas is just 13 years old and hails from Mangalore. He has set a high bar for others to follow. Hadrian Vegas, an 8th-grade student at Carmel CBSE School in Mangalore, achieved this record at the Yemmekere International Swimming Pool. His performance has made him the first swimmer under the age of 15 to complete such a remarkable number of flips. This achievement has been officially recognised by the Nobel World Records. Dr Krishnamurthy, the State Director of Nobel World Records, was overseeing and documenting the record-setting event.

While it is not uncommon for swimmers to perform flips while holding onto the edge of the pool, executing 26 flips simultaneously in the centre of the pool is an exceptional challenge. Hadrian has managed to accomplish this, setting a new record in the process. His talent was first noted at a summer camp, where he impressed his swimming coach, Aromal AS. This led to specialised training sessions at the Prestige International School’s pool, aimed at honing his skills.

Over the past 10 months, Hadrian dedicated himself to rigorous training. Initially, he could only manage seven or eight flips, but with consistent practice and dedication, he improved his performance to achieve 23 flips. His hard work culminated in him setting the Nobel World Record with 26 flips. Looking ahead, Hadrian has set his sights on earning a Guinness World Record, further showcasing his determination and ambition. His achievement serves as an inspiring example of what can be accomplished with dedication and perseverance in the field of swimming.
