New Delhi: Iranian Ambassador to India Mehdi Nabizadeh on Wednesday denied Iran's role behind the Israel embassy car attack.
"We are denying this. I hope the case will be verified. India and Iran always had a good relation. Definitely both governments will collaborate with each other," he said.
He said, "It happened in India and if Indian security says something like this, we have to verify. We hope that India will verify the cases to know the real position. Till now their final reaction has not come."
He was responding to allegations levelled by Israel that Iran was behind the magnetic bomb attack on its mission employee near Prime Minister's residence in New Delhi.
Nabizadeh said the incident happened in India and the authorities here have to verify the case.
Tal Yehoshua (40), wife of a Israeli Defence Attache, who herself is a diplomat and working in the mission, was critically injured in the explosion and underwent surgeries at the private Primus hospital to remove splinters from her spine and liver. She was among the four persons wounded due the blast.
