Indore: The average annual salary package for students of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) here have risen by roughly by 16 per cent.
Sources in the IIM-I said there were 175 students in the 2010 batch and they have got an annual salary package of Rs 10.29 lakh.
They said the maximum package of Rs 28 lakh was offered to a student by a multi-national investment bank for a posting in India.
Of the companies which offered jobs to students who would be completing their studies next year, 33 per cent had come to IIM-Indore for the first time.
The 11th convocation for the IIM-Indore would be held on March 29 when the chief guest would be the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Marico Limited, Harsh Mariwala.
