Extortion case against Bhanu again

HYDERABAD: The Crime Investigation Department (CID) police on Wednesday booked a fresh extortion case against Mallisetty Bhanu Kiran alias Bhanu, the key accused in Maddelacheruvu Suri’s murder case. The CID police are investigating at least nine cases in which Bhanu was the key accused.The Handri-Neeva contractor Venkata Narasaiah on Wednesday lodged a complaint with the CID police stating that Bhanu collected Rs one crore from him forcibly.Based on the complaint, the CID police booked an extortion case against Bhanu.Bhanu is currently lodged in jail and Cyberabad police filed a petition in the Miyapur court seeking his custody in another land settlement case.
