CRPF jawans body cremated

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The body of Praveenkumar, the CRPF jawan who lost his life after being fatally injured in an attack by Maoists in Chhattisgarh, was brought to his residence at Nedumanagad on Saturday. Praveenkumar had been hospitalised following the attack on October 7. Hundreds paid homage to the brave soldier at his residence. The body was cremated on the premises of his residence.  Two other jawans, including one from Kozhikode, were killed in the attack. Praveenkumar had joined the CRPF three years ago. He is survived by father Prabhakaran Nair, mother Prabhavathy and sister Prasobha (CRPF).
