Catechism unit celebrates Onam

MUNAMBAM: Onam is a cosmopolitan festival which is celebrated in high spirits by all Keralites.    In Munambam, the students of Holy Family Catechism Unit and its PTA members celebrated Onam in a big way. Inaugurating the celebrations, Vicar Fr Rockey Roby Kalathiparambil said that the spirit of Onam celebrations is the quest for goodness and peace. The Catholic Church also stands by it.   ‘Onakkali’, ‘uriyadi’, tug of war and pookkalam contests were held as part of the celebrations. The onasadya was a big attraction.  Wilfred Padamadan, Rintu Joy, Joshna George, Nelson, Rosy, Geethu, Joyal, Aji and Simon of PTA helped organise the celebrations.
