Akon's 'Chammak Challo' from Ra.One is a hit

New Delhi: Akon's foot-tapping track 'Chammak Challo' that stars Kareena Kapoor is already a hit on the internet.

The groovy item number has been composed by the Senegalese American R&B recording artist for Shah Rukh Khan's super hero flick 'Ra.One'.

Khan's home-production Ra.One is set for a Diwali release this year and the Anubhav Sinha-directed film features Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal.

The rough cut of the song was leaked and 'Wanna be my Chammak Challo' has found resonance among internet users with many of them sharing it on social networking sites. Ganesh Acharya has choreographed the number.

The film will be produced under Khan's production company, Red Chillies Entertainment. Shah Rukh said in an interview that Ra.One stands for Random Access - Version 1.0. The film was scheduled to be released on 3 June 2011, but was later pushed back due to extensive post production work.

This film will reportedly have good stunts from Shah Rukh Khan. The special effects team is being hired from Hollywood.
