BHADRACHALAM: The water level in the Godavari river has started rising again. It rose to 8 metres at the temple town on Sunday.

BHADRACHALAM: The water level in the Godavari river has started rising again. It rose to 8 metres at the temple town on Sunday.
Cheekativagu is overflowing on the causeway following lifting of crest gates of Sriram Sagar project due heavy inflows. About 25 villages in the division have been marooned again. Wajeedu mandal has been cut off with rest of the district.

People of the marooned villages demanded the government to find a permanent solution to the submersion problem as Cheekativagu is causing a havoc whenever it rained.
