Suo Moto Cases Against Bigg Boss Telugu 7 Winner Pallavi Prashanth, His Fans For Vandalism
Telangana State Road Transport Corporation MD VC Sajjanar severely criticised the actions on social media

The off-screen antics of Bigg Boss Telugu season 7 garnered more media attention than the on-screen ones during the grand finale. Pallavi Prashanth, who was a common man entrant on the reality show, took home the trophy, while Amardeep finished in second place. However, mayhem broke out on Sunday outside the Annapurna Studios site before the housemates could celebrate. TV9 said that suo moto cases have now been brought against the winner and his supporters.

The news that Pallavi had won Bigg Boss this season and that Amardeep had come second was leaked on Sunday afternoon. Large crowds of fans flocked to Annapurna Studios and waited outside the building. As soon as the winner was formally announced, mayhem broke out, and people who claimed to be Pallavi fans started vandalising passing cars. Amardeep, Ashwini, and Geetu Royal, as well as a few RTC buses, had their automobiles vandalized, and the glasses were shattered. Ashwini and Geetu filed complaints with the Jubilee Hills police station.

Telangana State Road Transport Corporation MD VC Sajjanar severely criticized the actions on social media and tagged host Nagarjuna and the makers of Bigg Boss in it. He tweeted,”

“On Sunday night, during the Bigg Boss 7 finale, some individuals attacked the Krishnanagar Annapurna Studio buses in Hyderabad. This incident resulted in damage to six buses. Regarding this event, the RTC representatives filed a report at the Jubilee Hills Police Station.

Insanity committed in the name of fandom is detrimental to society. It is an assault on society to target the RTC buses that transport people to their destinations safely and soundly. Such incidents are not disregarded by the TSRTC management. The TSRTC buses belong to the public. It is our shared duty to keep the passengers safe”.

Based on Sajjanar’s allegation, Telangana Police have opened proceedings against Pallavi Prashanth and his supporters for causing disturbance under IPC sections 147, 148, 290, 353, 427, and 149, according to a TV9 report. The channel also claims that police had to intervene to keep the crowd under control as Pallavi and Amardeep’s supporters started fighting outside the venue. With the aid of CCTV evidence, the authorities are currently in the process of identifying the culprits. In addition to the show creators, Pallavi has been accused of organizing a gathering after winning without getting authorization from the police.
